Lupus Today
Today I Took A Huge First Step In My Healing. I Choose To Write About A Condition I Have Suffered From For Ten Years Today. Most Yea Would Think Your Talking To A Individual Who Is Much Older In Age Nope. Your Listening To A 24 year old share her story about a illness she never knew was a disability. Your Reading A Blog Of Someone Who Has Never Been Treated For The Discoid Lupus That Was In Progress That Formed In To SLE Then Drug Induced Because Of The Meds To Treat Thyroid Damage Still I Was Never Diagnosed With Lupus Until My Early 20's After My Body Went Through So Many Changes Most Don't Live While The Lupus Is In Progress & Left Untreated. The Lupus Was Never Treated. Why? Because The ANA Wasn't Tested Until Years To Late Then Became Inactive. In The 10 Year Time I Lived As A Disabled Person Didn't Understand How Come I Had So Many Limitations Still Didn't Know It Was A Illness That Government Saw A Disability While A Teen I Wasn't Able To Work As Other Teens Work, Didn't Recieve The Scholorship Of The College I Had Dreams About, Went To Being An Acadimic Student To A Regular If That. The Time I was Sick Trying To Manage A Normal Teen Life Although I Didn't Relize It Was Taking My Energy. I Was Tryin To Manage What Was Going On In My Life A Sickness Medical Professionals Failed To Check For. How Can This Be Prevented From The Next Person From Experienced. Today I'm Waiting On Diability What Do I Do If I Don't Recieve The Disabilty I Completely Deserve. I Don't Get Free Health Care For It Only Is Provided For Those Who Are In A Family With Low Income Still As An Individual I Can't Hold Up a Job And Currently Am Recieving No Help From Anyone. What Do You Do In These Situations The Government Don't Reconize The State Of Condition You've Been Through. 10 years is alot of time it makes the condition terminal. Why Should I Have To Wait 18 mths to speak with a judge when i've suffered 10 yrs and currently am recieving no treatment from the illness, when left untreated is concidered terminal to the body it could progress any day...
